Highlights of the Department
Department of Sanskrit started with the inception of the college in 1946. In 1985 Dr. Sudha Rani joined as the H.O.D of the Department. On 1st January 1999 she was elevated to the post of Head of the University Department of Sanskrit and Prof. (Dr.) Pramila Gupta succeeded as the Head in 1996. In 2006 Prof. (Dr.) Kiran Mala is the present Head. She joined the department in 2003.
