One more feather in the cap of Magadh Mahila College (PU), Patna.  A three day national workshop on “climate change and Global warming impact and resilience” was conducted successfully from 8th to 10 th August 2024 . This workshop was organized jointly by Magadh Mahila College, Patna and IBRF(Kolkata) in association with GWRC (Global Warming Reduction Centre). Faculty members, Research Scholars from different universities and undergraduate students of different colleges of Patna University attended the workshop. Principal of Magadh Mahila College Prof. Namita Kumari encouraged students and research scholars to contribute through their active participation in mitigating climate change and preventing the natural environment of mother earth. Learned scientists, environmentalists and members of GWRC from different parts of India shared their views and analysis of their project and research regarding climate change. Speakers Prof. Tridib Bandhopadhyay, Prof. Tanmoy Rudra, Dr. Arnesha Guha, Dr. Saikat Basu, Dr. Mrinal Kanti Deb has shared their views critically and analytically in different modules of the sessions in the three consecutive days. The GWRC- Patna chapter was inaugurated at Magadh Mahila College which is another feather in the cap of the Institution. Evaluation of the participants if this three day workshop was done on the basis of a written test. The workshop was conducted successfully.
