Internal Examination Grievances Redressal Cell

Policies for Grievance Redressal of Internal Assessment and Evaluation
A structured mechanism has been established for addressing grievances related to internal assessment and evaluation (such as Continuous Internal Assessment – CIA and Mid-Term Exam) to be held in the institution in each semester. The objective of this mechanism is to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in the assessment process.
Grievance Redressal Procedure:
Submission of Grievance:
Students having concerns regarding their internal assessment or evaluation must submit a written grievance to the respective Course Instructor just after the announcement of marks. The grievance should be submitted along with relevant supporting documents, if any.
Review by Course Instructor:
The Course Instructor will review the grievance and provide clarification or necessary rectification, if justified, within a week.
Appeal to Departmental Grievance Committee:
If the student is not satisfied with the resolution, they may escalate the matter to the Departmental Grievance Redressal Committee (DGRC) just after disclosure of the review by the instructor. The DGRC will review the case and communicate its decision within a week. The decision of the DGRC shall be final and binding.
General Guidelines:
 Anonymous grievances will not be entertained.
 Any attempt to manipulate or misrepresent facts may lead to disciplinary action.
 Students are encouraged to approach the grievance mechanism with genuine concerns and in a professional manner.
 For any further queries, students may contact non – teaching staff of the department.
